Current and Past Competition Horses
Owned by Darcy Bowie. Welton Alexander was found by Valerie for
his owner as she was looking for a young horse to bring along. He was
barely started, but after watching him free jump several fences they knew
he was the guy they were looking for! Welton Alexander spent the next
several months in training with Valerie, furthering his basic education
and
getting a solid foundation in dressage. As he got older they
were able
to play with poles and boxes and cavaletti. He eventually
left our program
to go to a professional hunter/jumper outfit in
Virginia, and won the
Grand Champion honors his first time out!
