Owned by Valerie. Trick came to Valerie all the way from Oklahoma! He had a background that ranged in everything from upper level eventing to the show jumping circuit. Valerie picked him up off of a video and kept her fingers crossed. After getting him strong again (he was out of a routine when Valerie found him) and polishing up his dressage it was time to compete! Lady Luck was on her side and Trick and Valerie had a successful 2 years together, winning the CCI* at Virginia Horse Center the spring of 2008. After a season at intermediate and some good ribbons there, Trick went back across the country to teach a less experienced rider the ropes about upper level eventing. Lucky girl!
